Miss Ashlei became the owner and Director of OBD in 2018. She began dancing at the age of 2 and has not stopped since! She started persuing her degree in dance education in High School at the School of Performing Arts. After graduating she continued her studies, achieving her BFA in dance. During her college training she traveled the United States as part of the Bollywood Performing Arts Company. She also studied under as well as taught for internationally known choreographer and director Graham Lustig. Aside from teaching at studios in the Tristate Area, she regularly worked alongside Cleo Mack in the dance program at East Brunswick School of Performing Arts. Miss Ashlei’s work has won many awards for choreography, as well as special awards for her creative and innovative work, national titles, entertainment awards and high scores. Although Miss Ashlei was extensively trained in modern, she teaches every age and genre. Her passion for dance shines through each time she steps into the studio with her students. She believes that dances is about more than movement, but about the bonds and memories dancers share, ones that cannot be made anywhere but the dance floor.
