A Message From the Owner

Over the past 26 years, Old Bridge School of Dance has been educating, nurturing and inspiring dancers. Our studio and staff has brought the love and passion of dance in a variety of genres while helping our students become wonderful, confident and well rounded dancers and people.

My staff and I have created a wonderful rapport with our community and spread our love for dance and priority of a family first business to countless families who have walked through our doors. We are continuously looking for ways to teach our dancers about the importance of giving back and participating in events that help others. At OBD our training goes beyond a dance education. 

When looking for a dance studio to call home there are so many things you must consider. We know how important your children are to you and we are so grateful that you are considering our studio for your child's dance education. In a world full of challenges we do our best to constantly encourage our dancers. We firmly believe in lifting our dancers up and teaching them that hard work and dedication pays off. Most importantly we teach them that it is okay to fall, to be “imperfect” and to be unapologetically themselves. We encourage dancers to try new things, to never give up and to always have fun. At OBD we go through an extensive hiring process to ensure your dancers not only have the most knowledgeable teachers but ones who truly care for them. We purposely select teachers who are dedicated, experienced and great role models to our dancers. My entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure dancers know that they are important, cared for and valued. We walk alongside our dancers through all their biggest accomplishments and some of their toughest moments. We take the time to give attention to each student individually. We firmly believe that a dancer who is taking one class is just as important and a team member taking eight classes. There is no separation of different treatment to team dancers over our recreational students.

OBD strives to make every class fun from ages 2.5 -18. Our dancers learn proper technique, the importance of teamwork and grow to become beautiful artists. Our goal is for our dancers to gain a pristine dance education, make lifelong friends and to become the best versions of themselves they can be. 
Each day we give our dancers a place to escape from the stress of the real world and enter a safe place where they can be and achieve whatever they set their minds to. My goal as the owner and director is for every family that comes through our doors to be happy and changed for the better. I want parents to know that their child received top notch training from quality teachers. We are excited to be inspired by our dancers every day and the chance to have known all of our past dance families and future families. We promise to continue supplying quality dance training and to be an active part of our community as long as we can!
